Bassi was contracted by the homeowners for Tarion deficiency repairs to this new four-level home in Old Ottawa East due to mold and builder deficiencies. Work began in January 2021 and was substantially completed by early May 2021. Scope of work included removal and reinstatement of all basement interior finishes and partition walls; installation of a new kitchen at basement level; re-facing of main floor kitchen, including re-spraying all cabinets on site as they were not able to be removed; removal and reinstatement of drywall to allow for investigation of clearance around combustibles at fireplace location, repainting of all interior walls and trim, supply and installation of spray foam insulation to the underside of roof sheathing at the penthouse, third-floor mold abatement and installation of new rooftop patio/deck.
